I have attended many colleges and universities inside and outside of the state of Arizona.
I received my undergraduate degree in secondary education with an English major and a minor degree in music, vocal and instrumental, from Urbana University. I student taught at Desert Sky Middle School with Mrs. Haynes and absolutely loved it. I have taught at Hillcrest Middle School, Desert Sky Middle School, and Deer Valley High School. I am Arizona Teacher Certified in secondary education in English through Arizona State University.
I have taught the last fourteen years in Language Arts and have coached successful softball and basketball programs at the middle schools.
I have a wonderful and caring wife and two loving children. My wife is a retired Language Arts teacher and is a constant supporter. My son is a born actor, computer enthusiast, college student, music guru, and clothes hound. My daughter is a dancing diva, enjoys music, her boyfriend, and her work with the church. We enjoy golf, racquetball, swimming, movies, fishing in Alaska, and family vacations. Yes, it is true; I have retired once already, and I am a true Corvette aficionado.
